Call for 2024 Board Members

Hello emergency nurses!

The end of 2023 is only 5.5 months away! That means we must decide who will take our local chapter into the next season. This is an open call for the position of president, secretary, and treasurer for 2024. I will not be able to continue in the role of chapter president as I will be preoccupied with other obligations.  Serving on the ENA board is an invaluable experience and a great way to elevate your career. I know it can be intimidating, but just like your first year as a nurse, you are not alone. You will be mentored and guided throughout your service as we have a wealth of experience and knowledge in our chapter. As a reminder, our bylaws dictate that we must have an acting president in order for our chapter to continue to exist.

If you would like to nominate yourself for a position on the 2024 ENA board please email us your intent and include a short introduction written in the third person that will be used for the election ballot. Please indicate which position you would like to run for. The deadline for nominations is August 31st. Our email is NEPiedmontENA@gmail.com. Below is a list of the positions needing to be filled: 

• President
• President-Elect (Will be filled by the runner-up in votes if there is more than one candidate)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
