Eastern Piedmont Chapter of ENA

Denver or Bust! How to get paid to go.

Posted about 3 years ago by Adam Brown

Hello friends!

Registration is open for hopefully our first in person national ENA conference in 2 years! This year we will be mile high in Denver, Colorado taking in the spectacular views. Did you know you can get a sizable portion of you conference trip paid for by our state council!?  NCENA has opened applications to become a delegate for the general assembly in Denver and those chosen will receive a stipend to help you get there. Go check out the application on the NC website and please apply even if you think you don’t meet the minimum requirements.

There are tons of ways to earn application points to become a national delegate and our chapter has an opportunity coming up. We need volunteers to help with skills stations at a community Stop the Bleed education in Winston Salem on June 23rd from 5:30-8:00pm. This is a great opportunity for you to use your expertise and volunteer to serve our local community. Additionally, your participation helps to improve your chances of becoming a national delegate and gain a seat at the table that defines your professional practice. If you are able to help out with this event please email Charlene Kramer at

and copy us at:

Join Charlene, your colleagues, and myself in Winston on June 23rd. Then join me afterwards at the Vintage Sofa Bar for drinks and a chance to find out what it means to serve on your local chapter’s board. If you have any questions, need help finding the applications, or want more info on ENA happenings e-mail us anytime!

Respectfully,

Adam N. Brown, BSN, RN, TCRN
