Happy New Year!
We have an exciting year planned for our chapter and I hope you will join us for all the exciting events we have planned. The first order of business is that our first meeting is fast approaching and is Feburary 9th. We will welcome Allyson E. Mauzy, MSN, ANP-C, NHDP-C who is the APP Clinical Director at Wake Med and is a Nurse Practioner in the COVID ICU. She will be discussing the latest trends and treatment options in this COVID-19 update. She will also cover best practices in caring for the critical COVID patient boarded in the ED. This will be a virtual event powered by WebEx. Directions on how to connect can be found under the upcoming events tab and the flyer will be uploaded shortly.
To help you in your planning you can expect our chapter meeting dates and times to follow our usual schedule of the second Tuesday every 3 months. The dates are Feb 9th, May 11th, Aug 10th, Nov 9th. All will start at 6pm. Tentative to COVID recommendations we are also planning networking meetups during the months of April, July, and October. Watch your e-mail for more updates on this.
Finally, you will find a message from our President attached to this announcement. We hope to see you at our next meeting on February 9th!
